Sales Development Representative at Loop
The Sales Development Representative role at Loop focuses on outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers, understand their needs, and schedule introductory calls or demos for Account Executives. This position is based in or open to Remote-friendly locations; candidates in Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; Austin, TX; Los Angeles, CA; or Columbus, OH are considered. What You’ll Do
Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers through phone calls, emails, social media, and other channels. Research and understand prospects’ business needs and pain points to effectively communicate Loop’s value proposition. Schedule and coordinate introductory calls or demos for qualified prospects with Account Executives. Track and document all interactions and lead information in Loop’s CRM (Salesforce) to ensure accurate data. Continuously learn about the industry and competitors to provide valuable insights to merchants and improve sales messaging. Collaborate with AEs and cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and performance. Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs for outbound calls, qualified leads, and scheduled meetings; achieve or exceed monthly SQO quota. Participate in ongoing training to improve sales skills and product knowledge. Provide feedback to the marketing team on campaign effectiveness; act as a voice of the market to internal teams. Your Experience
Strong prospecting skills across channels (cold calls, emails, social media, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to engage and persuade prospects. Strong listening skills to understand needs and articulate Loop’s value. Resilience, motivation, and a results-driven mindset capable of meeting quotas. Comfort with CRM and prospecting tools; familiarity with Loop’s tools (Salesforce, Slack, Notion, Loom, Outreach, Lusha, SalesNav, Google Suite) is a plus. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including AEs, marketing, partnerships, and merchant success. Willingness to learn and continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge. Examples of addressing customer concerns and turning hesitancy into a win. Curiosity and initiative in experimenting with AI technologies to improve workflows and messaging. Base salary: $60,000 per year. This position is eligible for an annual commission, expected to be $22,000. The posted base salary range is for the opportunity and may be adjusted in the future. Actual salary will be based on factors including experience, location, and total compensation goals.
