Senior-level role focused on sales performance, customer relations, and strategic account management within Global Key Accounts (GKA). Responsibilities
Sales performance and customer relations across a defined account list. Developing a trusted-advisor relationship with retail customers to grow their optical products sales and their overall business. Utilize corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives with assigned accounts. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with commercial colleagues to ensure successful customer relations and achievement of annual sales objectives. Consistently achieve established sales goals for defined accounts. Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans for each customer. Communicate and collaborate with sales management and marketing on plans of action and KPI execution. Strategic Customer Planning
Monitor and analyze customer activities to determine potential and needs. Develop a strategic business plan identifying key stakeholders, tactics, and timelines. Plan, execute, and assess promotional activities using the strategic business plan. Partner with commercial colleagues to understand account dynamics and product opportunities. Adjust strategic and tactical plans based on trial learnings. Monitor competitor activities and gather competitive intelligence. Collaborate with sales management, finance, and pricing teams to define and implement competitive sales strategies at appropriate pricing levels. Manage an assigned annual sales budget focused on growth and business development initiatives. Utilize analytical tools to manage targeted accounts. Market Selling
Develop programs for targeted accounts, including pricing, shipping charges, co-op funds or rebates, and credit terms for review by appropriate department heads. Use consultative selling to drive sales and establish long-term partnerships. Tailor selling approaches based on segmentation and customer business approach. Prepare and present account business summaries for diverse audiences. Educate and train assigned customers and optical staff on dispensing supplied optical products and services. Market Service
Anticipate and address customer needs/issues, resolve promptly, and build stronger relationships. Coordinate with HOYA, Seiko, and Vision Ease personnel when addressing customer needs while maintaining a professional corporate image. Demonstrate commitment to customer service and complete tasks timely as requested by management and corporate offices. Key Competencies
