Account Executive - Business Development at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Worcester, MA and Metro West Region. Compensation: Base Salary + Uncapped Commission, benefits, expenses, unlimited vacation, and more. Responsibilities
Drive new client acquisition and grow a book of business with new and existing accounts. Prospect qualified opportunities, consult to identify growth opportunities, and deliver a compelling marketing strategy with a digital portfolio. Conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, and proposals. Collaborate with clients to provide a broad set of digital marketing solutions including SEO, SEM, Social, Email, Display, and related services. Upsell and expand services with current accounts while achieving local advertising revenue goals. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and earn trust through effective communication and problem-solving. Solutions & Offerings

2+ years of experience in a high acquisition, consultative B2B sales role and a college degree or equivalent. Experience building a book of new business and a hunter mentality with prospecting, planning, organizational, and time-management skills. Track record of developing and selling custom multi-tactic digital advertising campaigns, including mobile, SEO/SEM, email, and social offerings. Google AdWords/Analytics certifications are preferred but not required. Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to pivot quickly without sacrificing speed or quality. Strong problem solving, communication, and presentation skills to build trust with customers. Experience with a CRM tool (daily use required). Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance as required. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Benefits

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $55,000 and $60,000. Base compensation is reflective of factors including market, education, skills, certifications and experience.
