General Purpose The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Tasks include greeting customers, following company standards, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring proper merchandise presentation, and performing a range of store duties as needed.
Essential Functions
Safety is the number one priority; maintain awareness to create a safe and secure shopping environment.
Keep the sales floor clutter-free with clear egress to emergency exits; report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy; participate in recognition programs.
Assist Customers: register-trained, help with merchandise, answer questions politely and knowledgeably; greet customers with eye contact and a smile; say thank you during transactions.
Provide prompt responses to Customer Service calls; resolve issues courteously and escalate to Store Leadership when needed.
Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
Perform cleaning tasks and replenish supplies to maintain merchandise, customer, and Team areas.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
Conduct daily sizing and recovery to ensure a neat, clean, organized store
Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandise items per presentation guidelines.
Follow Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
Safeguard confidential information, cash, credit card information, and merchandise.
Follow MOS policies and processing procedures for disposals and appropriate notification of leadership.
Handle cash, checks, charge cards, refunds, voids, and offline transactions with accuracy and awareness.
Demonstrate urgency to maximize productivity and minimize steps in workflow.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Physical Requirements / ADA
Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PCs as required.
Standing, walking, and moving around the Store up to 100% of the time.
Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, carrying, reaching, and stooping.
Occasionally pushing, pulling and lifting more than 25 pounds.
Use of janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
Stockroom shifts may require regular pushing/pulling/lifting more than 20 pounds.

The base pay range for this role is $16.50 - $17.00 per hour. The base pay range depends on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location.
