We’re looking for an
Air Quality Consultant/Air permit
to lead
Air Permitting and compliance projects
for clients in the power, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and transportation sectors. This is a high-impact role with a wide variety of project work with Environmental permitting, and strong potential for advancement within our growing Environmental Services team. Responsibilities
Prepare air permit application packages
and supporting documentation. Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure air quality compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Estimate emissions
(including GHGs and emissions during maintenance/start-up/shutdown) . Manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and client communication. Putting together complex permitting applications for a wide variety of projects Support development of multi-media environmental plans, including: Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans EPCRA filings Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies. Support other environmental compliance work as needed. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree a plus). 7+ years of experience in air permitting/compliance (10+ years preferred). Prior
consulting experience
in environmental permitting and compliance Solid understanding of the Clean Air Act, including: New Source Review (NSR) / Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) Title V and VI permitting Familiarity with air dispersion modeling tools (AERMOD, AERSCREEN, CALPUFF, etc.) is a plus. Experience or interest in sustainability initiatives is a bonus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
