We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Key Account Manager
to join our charismatic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for management, retention and growth of relationships with our key clients, and balancing the client’s needs and expectations with company objectives. This critical role within our organization requires a proactive, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
To retain, manage and grow allocated portfolio of key accounts
Drive the success of all account metrics: client satisfaction, revenue, and profitability
Lead client facing company functions, representing ET Global to the client and representing the Client to ET Global
Account Strategy
Keep an updated Account Plan for each client to document an overview of their status
Maintain a deep knowledge of all accounts (incl. internal structure, operating budgets, and marketing objectives)
Travel to meet clients on show sites or other projects, or client offices to ensure rapport through face-to-face relations is properly maintained
Client Communication
Be aware of clients’ opportunities, incl. tradeshow attendance and other (events/environments/etc.)
Drive all client communication through project lifecycle including briefing, development, outbound, onsite, and post-show
Maintain strategic communication on account understanding and solving program challenges
Be attentive to ensure personal visits both on site and in client’s offices, appropriate to client scope
Know and build rapport with strategic people on account including client executives, co-workers, and vendors
Effectively resolve any vulnerabilities or account issues that might develop: know when to escalate to Management
Project And Internal Communications
Drive project briefings with the client considering both our requirements and those of the client
Understand the project timeline and ensure all milestones are met (Handover, Invoicing, Graphics, etc.)
Document all process outlined paperwork to ensure all departments have a record of project requirements
Handover controlled estimate and design to PM on schedule and with competency
Ensure all Graphics are developed and approved within project timeline
Create timely Change Orders for all client requests after Handover, inclusive of onsite and post-show
Facilitate invoicing, capturing all justified revenue with command of profitability targets
Efficient use of all ET software to communicate and document project solutions
Ensure backup for your workload during your travels and PTO
Mentor and support other KAM roles such as new KAM employees or support roles to KAM positions

Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both external and internal
Strong knowledge of Tradeshow Industry and its working environment, personalities, and practices
Proactive attention to challenges, to foresee and address challenges before they develop into problems
Ability to learn and comply with the ET Global Operational Process
Exemplify Leadership, Teamwork, and collaboration
Strong presentation skills and influential communication to drive a meeting
Ability to learn and comply with ET Global Human Resources policies and paperwork as related to KAM
Excellent command of Microsoft software platform, focused on Outlook and Excel
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the exhibit or events industry
Strong understanding of exhibit design, production, and logistics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with aptitude to adapt and learn other company wide software quickly
