The Boring Company . The Boring Company was founded to solve traffic congestion by creating an underground tunnel network. We aim to increase tunneling speed and reduce costs significantly, with the goal of enabling Hyperloop adoption and rapid transit in densely populated areas. The Project Development Associate will support new business opportunities and lead design efforts for conceptual and construction projects. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills, and is vital to our growth strategy. Responsibilities
Represent the company to external stakeholders regarding project status and design, including clients, government officials, regulators, and community members. Collaborate with design, construction, and regulatory teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to schedule. Prepare external briefings about project status and site details. Track and communicate project progress with internal teams. Develop expertise in the construction and operation of the Loop system. Create processes to ensure timely communication with clients and partners. Minimum Requirements
1-2 years of experience working with clients on construction or complex projects. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a relevant technical field. Preferred Skills and Experience
Strong communication and presentation skills. Highly organized. Experience in Land Acquisition and Development. Knowledge of permitting processes. Understanding of civil, structural, and MEP trades. Knowledge of geotechnical data’s impact on tunnel design and construction. Strong negotiation, time management, and leadership skills. Willingness to work extended hours and weekends. Ability to travel as needed. Must be located in or willing to relocate to Las Vegas, NV. Additional Information
