Job Title: Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol and surrounding region (Hybrid/Flexible)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
An established consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Consultant with 3-6 years' experience to join a growing team delivering building and environmental acoustics across the South West.
This is a great step for an Acoustic Consultant who enjoys technical problem-solving, client interaction, and end-to-end project delivery on commercial, residential, education, and infrastructure schemes.

Building acoustics design and assessment (sound insulation, room acoustics, building services noise) Environmental noise assessments aligned to planning and regulatory guidance Noise and vibration monitoring, analysis, and clear technical reporting Client, design-team, and local authority liaison to develop practical solutions Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to bids and project delivery Skills and Experience
3-6 years' experience in building and/or environmental acoustics Working knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, WHO and related guidance Proficiency with modelling tools (SoundPLAN/CadnaA) desirable Strong report writing, communication, and stakeholder skills Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, or related discipline IOA membership (MIOA or working towards) preferred; organised and self-motivated If this role is of interest, or you are looking for other roles in Acoustics, please contact Aidan Morgan at Penguin Recruitment.
