The Workday Financials Integrations Senior Principal Consultant – Global AMS (Global Application Managed Services) is a well experienced post-production Workday professional who is dynamic, fast-paced, and familiar with the managed services construct. As a Workday AMS Financials Senior Principal Consultant, you will bring your functional and business skills, ability to keep the business context in sight, and roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic to a team with a positive, can-do attitude, a collaborative culture, and a passion for helping our clients to be successful.
Responsibilities
Onshore Integration lead who leads Integration Extend workstream for the assigned set of accounts (Workday Integration and Extend certification is mandatory).
Apply and execute various AMS & Implementation methodologies/activities in these Workday FINS engagements.
Collaborate with the GDC team on day-to-day activities, incidents, root cause analysis and other work requests.
Provides on-call support and holiday coverage as required.
Deep knowledge in SLA constructs and adherence.
Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to create high business impact.
Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
Proactively identify and develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization, creating solutions that support metrics for IT and the business at large.
Work with clients to identify/resolve issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
Maintain the Workday platform with a focus on reporting (including scheduled reports), business process maintenance, security administration, data loads and data audits.
Ensure system design fits the needs of the user.
Lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ensure the team delivers project deliverables on time and coordinate reminders with vendors and project team.
Drive continual business process improvements throughout the organization.
Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements.
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7-10 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience and at least 5-7 years experience in client facing roles handling managed services in a global delivery model
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Workday Integrations
Should have an expert level understanding of Workday Integrations
Workday certification is mandatory.
Able to multitask and perform a variety of duties.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until 12/22/2025. The annual salary for this position is between USD $128,093 - USD $192,140 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
