Times/days: Monday-Friday (Every day of student attendance) – Times will vary between 11:00am - 1:00pm Start Date: To Be Determined Pay Rate: $19.00/hour Not a benefits eligible position Responsibilities
Supervise students during lunch periods at all times including serving lines, while eating, etc. Assist students in securing trays, accessing food, seating, and dismissal procedures. Circulate among tables to provide assistance and to resolve minor issues. Address student behavior using established school and district procedures and plans. Interact with students in a positive and age and developmentally appropriate way. Model positive communication, tact, and diplomacy for students. Report any injuries, accidents, or illnesses to appropriate authority. Follow the school food safety plan that complies with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point. Notify custodian or any large spills, garbage problems, etc. that need to be addressed. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all school staff and food service staff. If applicable, supervises students outside or in other areas of the school with an eye towards ensuring students are safe and are engaging in safe play. Reports all safety concerns to appropriate authority. Has knowledge of school evacuation and emergency procedures and implements as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children in a school setting preferred Physical Demands

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud at times. Standing approximately 60% and for periods of up to 30 minutes required. Walking approximately 40% for periods of up to 30 minutes. Must be able to navigate a school playground area which might include wood chips, grass, concrete, or other similar surfaces. The position is sometimes performed in temperatures as low as zero (0) degrees Fahrenheit, wind, light rain, sun and heat, etc. This position is Non-Exempt and paid an hourly rate established annually by the Board of Education Seniority level
