Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives within the assigned territory. Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals. Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs. Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs and goals. Stay informed of market conditions, product innovations, competitors’ offerings, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services. Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and use. Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel. Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc. Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect balances due per approved terms. Manage deliveries to the routing schedule; troubleshoot order issues (out-of-stock items, special orders, low inventory, etc.). Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and events; attend district and sales meetings; engage in ongoing training and assist with training of new employees. Review and analyze daily/weekly reports (special-order requests, customer bid files, sales/gross profit data); perform administrative duties (budgets, records, credits, quotes, and menu suggestions). Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications

Required Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, or

HS/ GED

with 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including Sysco Sales Internship. Preferred Qualifications:

Bi-Lingual; Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience Preferred. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no multiple DUIs within last 2 years); current automobile insurance meeting required limits (bodily injury $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident; property damage $100,000). Requirements:

Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check); sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement; reside or relocate to the territory vicinity. Professional Skills:

Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office; ability to read, write, and speak English. Competencies:
