Overview

Senior Human Resources Manager – Sacramento at MITER Brands. MITER Brands is a residential window and door manufacturer (also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGTI) with plants across the country. We are seeking a Sr Human Resources Manager for our Sacramento, CA location. The role is a key member of a senior leadership team at one of our largest manufacturing plants, leading and deploying HR strategic initiatives both locally and across the business, in alignment with the Company’s strategic plan. The role will also serve as a mentor and coach to other HR leaders. Pay Range: $122k - $153k, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities

Serve as an active member of the local management team, providing leadership in HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations, ensuring alignment between business operations and HR practices/objectives. Lead the Sacramento HR Team (currently 2 HR Generalists, 1 HR Coordinator) to provide exceptional HR support to approximately 500 team members. Provide effective communications and development opportunities for the HR team. Build relationships with employees at all levels and manage a variety of complex HR initiatives. Manage change processes within the location with clear roles and responsibilities. Analyze workforce trends, data, and statistics and provide professional guidance to management based on this information. Provide coaching to managers and supervisors as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; train functional managers on new policies or procedures. Continually improve the effectiveness of local HR programs by developing strategies to improve team member satisfaction and management-team member relations. Assist managers with performance management and leadership development; engage in succession planning, training, and development. Participate in the Safety Committee and support the rollout of safety policies and training programs. Investigate team member concerns objectively and provide recommendations for resolution. Oversee Workers Compensation case management and related issues; provide support in facility safety initiatives and OSHA compliance. Manage partnerships with Centers of Excellence, including recruitment and selection in collaboration with Talent Acquisition; oversee benefits-related issues (enrollment, terminations, 401(k), STD, LTD, etc.). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant field. 8 to 10 years of HR Generalist experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience leading an HR team preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work with manufacturing team members and leaders. Knowledge of all aspects of HR including benefits, recruiting, compensation, training, payroll, policies & procedures. Collaboration skills across HR and multiple functions and teams. Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Ability to manage and prioritize time effectively to complete projects timely and accurately. Superior presentation and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. About Us & Benefits
