Overview Intercept Health is a licensed provider of Treatment Foster Care (TFC) in Virginia, partnering with individuals and families to serve as Treatment Foster Parents for the over 5,000 children in Virginia's foster care system. Qualifications to qualify as a Treatment Foster Parent
At least 21 years old and live in Virginia
Married or single (not cohabitating)
Physically able to pass a physical exam and emotionally stable
Financially stable without the use of State assistance
Able to provide space in your home to accommodate a foster child
Willing to work as a member of the TFC team
Able to help a child cope with separation, loss, and grief
Able to nurture a child's safe connection with biological family and return home goals
Willing to help the child preserve relationships as well as build new ones
Able and willing to comply with licensing standards for foster family homes
Able to pass a background check
Able to provide a valid driver's license and have an insured vehicle
Support for TFC parents
