Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking to fill a
Virtual Design & Construction, Project VDC Engineer . A successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and support of all VDC processes across the region. The primary objective for this individual is to support established VDC initiatives leveraged by project teams both in the office and field, supporting model-based project management, process workflows, and construction technology deployment for DPR business units. Responsibilities Include Administer and support VDC coordination kick-off meetings and subsequent meetings Configure project sites to host BIM data (if applicable) or other platforms Perform VDC work and support project personnel in VDC processes, including technical support issues Basic Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, capable of multi-tasking, producing quality deliverables, and meeting project deadlines. The successful candidate will possess: Strong technical skills; basic to intermediate knowledge of Autodesk packages (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) and other platforms Knowledge of Autodesk BIM 360 Build products: Glue, Field, Docs Knowledge of contractor-facing authoring and collaboration tools such as Revit, Tekla, 3D AutoCAD MEP, etc. Knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks Manage and/or Simulate Ability to quickly learn new software tools and teach others Ability to work in a flat organizational environment emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and influence Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to execute and multi-task VDC operations on a single project Required Experience Background in architecture, engineering, or construction Experience with RFIs and submittal processes Experience with MEP coordination Education & Technical Qualifications Associates degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent AECO industry experience 0-3 years’ experience in Precon, Operations, or VDC-related roles Experience in design, engineering, or construction Beginner to intermediate software skills in Autodesk packages and other platforms Core Company Competencies Technical Builder Customer focus (DPR, Client, and Trades) Enhancing technical project delivery Collaboration, communication, and design coordination Technical and personal development Ever Forward Deliver Results #LI-RH DPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects across various markets.
