Summary The primary focus of this position is to provide architecture design, installation and support to Cisco based networks and Palo Alto security environments. The ideal candidate can provide network designs, implementation, configurations, and migrations during network infrastructure projects. Client environment includes multivendor enterprise network with Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure cloud. Customer has many data center technologies as well, including, Dell, HP, VMware, and Microsoft. Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Network and System Engineering in a multi-vendor enterprise network with Cisco UCCE, Microsoft, Palo Alto networks, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure cloud, VMware, HP, and Storage. Conduct network analysis, bandwidth capacity planning and performance planning of networking components including network traffic optimization for overall infrastructure. Create and maintain documentation, including runbooks and workbook, ensuring accurate reflection of current state of network infrastructure and environment. Coordinate with network and business application administrators, desktop support, project management to ensure reliability, availability and stability of network and network resources. Participate in or drive projects associated to the enhancement or implementation of new or existing networking technology solutions. Respond to new requests and resolve technical issues encompassing hardware, software, and networking within established SLA to provide technical assistance and support to ensure service availability. Design and implement various cloud connectivity from public cloud to on premises. Use advanced and specialized knowledge of computer technologies, active directory, operating system, security best practices, and networking. Plan and deploy security infrastructure and infrastructure services, including 802.1X, NAC, cryptography, IPSEC, deep-inspection firewalls, intrusion and threat protection platforms, AAA, RADIUS, DNS, NTP, monitoring, and logging. Wireless network and security design and deploy with Active directory, RADIUS/TACACS+ integration with Cisco Identity services Engine and 802.1X. Provide professional services and expert opinion on designing and implementing network security, monitoring infrastructure and disaster recovery/ failover scenarios. Audit configurations for switch, router, and firewall and servers. Propose new features and configurations for system optimization. Design and deploy SolarWinds for system monitoring with subscriptions like NPM, NTA, IPAM, NCM and SAM. Design and deploy Syslog server and Nessus Security center for system vulnerability. Work on Linux and Shell scripting for all the network related troubleshooting and configuration. Test and validate all production changes in lab Dev environment. Design and configure network testing development and testing environment. Work with end users and stakeholders support organizations to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues related to networking, server, backup, storage as well as LAN/WAN connectivity issues when necessary. Performing network traffic analysis using tools like Sniffer/Wireshark to ensure optimal performance for data & VOIP and troubleshooting system issues for data and voice traffic. Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a Cisco engineering role, including architecture and design of heterogeneous IT environments with experience in: Cisco Networking products; network design, architecture, specifications, and equipment; IPv4 and IPv6 design including IP subnetting and protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP; network device configuration and troubleshooting (ideally Cisco IOS); design and implementation of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, NAT, QoS, VLAN, STP, VTP, ACL and RSTP for Cisco router/switches/firewall for WAN and LAN; Palo Alto Networks firewalls, logging, Panorama, and software blades; security features like IP access-lists and stateful inspections; cloud integration with AWS and Azure; diagnosing hardware and software problems in data center infrastructure; documenting network designs; creating documents for training operations personnel. Ability to create documents for use in training operations personnel. Preferred qualifications

Bachelors degree preferred. At least one major vendor certification (CCDA, CCNP, CCNA) or equivalent experience preferred. EEO
