Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Utilities Work and Asset Management Lead to join a long-term client engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Utilities with a focus on Work and Asset Management, and the ability to guide the team through both current operations and the upcoming S/4HANA migration. This is a highly visible role where you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Work and Asset Management within the Utilities industry.

Provide subject matter expertise to business users and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment of system capabilities with operational needs.

Support and guide the transition to SAP S/4HANA, including process optimization and system readiness.

Conduct workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.

Manage integration points with related SAP modules (e.g., Plant Maintenance, Customer Service, Finance).

Oversee testing, training, and deployment activities to ensure successful project delivery.

Serve as a key liaison between business teams and technical partners.

Qualifications

10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years focused on Utilities Work and Asset Management.

Strong background in SAP IS‑U and related modules.

Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or upgrades strongly preferred.

Proven ability to lead workshops, translate business needs into technical solutions, and guide cross‑functional teams.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
