A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting. This contract position spans the school year, providing consistent engagement with a diverse student population of approximately 40-65 individuals presenting a variety of disabilities.
The role requires delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services tailored to meet the unique needs across all grade levels. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) is highly preferred, aiding in support for students with complex communication needs. While Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCA) are not currently utilized, the program supports strong communication interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy strategies appropriate for a wide age range from early childhood to adolescence. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster communication development. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports aligned with educational and clinical standards.
Qualifications And Skills
Valid SLP credential or certification relevant to K-12 educational settings. Proven experience working with diverse student populations and multiple disabilities. Proficiency in AAC and PECS, with adaptability to evolving communication tools. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to efficiently manage caseloads and schedules.

This position is based in the Solano, California area, serving students in surrounding districts.
