Registered Dietitian
to join our
co-occurring Mental Health and Eating Disorder Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
programs in San Jose, CA. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with clients navigating both mental health challenges and eating disorders, offering them the structure, tools, and support to build a sustainable path toward recovery. We are looking for a dedicated, collaborative, and mission-driven individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive
nutritional assessments
and ongoing care for PHP/IOP clients. Deliver
individual and family-based nutritional counseling and education . Collaborate with clinical team in
treatment planning and case management . Support clients in
meal planning, preparation, and reintegration of food
in a safe and supportive manner. Facilitate
nutrition-focused groups and psychoeducation sessions . Create and maintain educational materials and client resources. Participate in
discharge and aftercare planning , ensuring continuity of nutritional care. Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, families, and team members. Qualifications
Registered Dietitian
(active credential required). Experience in
mental health and/or eating disorder treatment settings
preferred. Familiarity with
HAES (Health at Every Size)
and
Intuitive Eating
frameworks. Knowledge of relevant
DOH/state/federal standards and nutrition regulations . Understanding of
compliance and quality assurance
in a clinical environment. Flexible and team-oriented, with the ability to adapt to evolving needs throughout the day.
