The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing higher level clinical support to the health care team by delivering superior nursing care services to patients in accordance with established RN job standards, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly inquiry, compassion, advocacy, education for patients and families, and collaboration with all colleagues involved in patient care. What You Will Do

Contribute to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that positively impact patient care. Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients, and family members. Educate patients and family members so they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided. Utilize computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office. Demonstrate problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program. Licensure: Current Connecticut RN license required; CPR required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred. Experience: Comfortable with Windows-based computer systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to multi-task, solve problems, and make decisions; capable of organizing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical data; high dependability and accuracy. Flexibility to meet the coverage needs of the department. Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks. Position Highlights And Benefits
