Exercises judgment to assess and respond to patient's needs prior to, during, and after visit to the nuclear medicine department. Provides for proper comfort, care, and safety of the patient prior to, during, and after procedures. Evaluates and maintains quality control program for instrumentation to ensure its credibility and reliability. Utilizes appropriate technique to ensure quality diagnostic images and/or laboratory results. Requirements Educational Requirements: Graduation from an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program or acceptable equivalent schooling Experience Requirements: No experience required Licenses: Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (required) Certifications/Registration Requirements: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) (required)
