Overview
The Ohio State University (College of Arts and Sciences) seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Inorganic Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The new faculty member will join an interdisciplinary community on the main campus in Columbus, Ohio. Our facilities include state-of-the-art NMR spectroscopy (up to 1.2 GHz), mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, and a supercomputing center, with opportunities for collaboration across materials science, engineering, biology, and medicinal chemistry. Required qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field is required at the time of appointment. The position will begin in Autumn 2026. Demonstrated potential for excellence in highly innovative research and a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring are essential.
