Speech Language Pathologist role at Dignity Health Responsibilities
Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience with evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence and competence. Current California State license in Speech Therapy (LIC SLP) Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS) Job Requirements
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, hospital departments, and the general public. Demonstrates knowledge of teaching and leadership skills including a proficiency for conceptual thinking, motivating teaching principles, and problem solving. Demonstrates advanced working knowledge of the principles, standard practices, procedures, and equipment utilized in the department. Ability and willingness to actively participate in departmental and hospital programs. Demonstrates self-motivation and ability to achieve results through good organizational skills and prioritization of work. Knowledge and understanding of pertinent standards and regulations including DHS and The Joint Commission. Ability to gather, comprehend, and interpret data for Quality Improvement activities. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Ability to mentor/coach student interns or oversee their clinical experience. Ability to be flexible with caseload within any given day as needed for the benefit of the department. Promotes S.T. services in the community as appropriate. Pay Range
$45.26 - $67.32 /hour Additional context
