CACI is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia. Join this team of industry-leading individuals supporting best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Provide software development and maintenance for the delivery of releasable software in short sprint cycles. Deliver software solutions for customer-defined systems and projects by collaborating with software developers/engineers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes. Design, develop, and implement custom software and database capabilities for legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight. Be a member of a product team, supporting teammates with a do what it takes attitude to ensure product and team success. Provide improvements to the product(s) being supported. Actively participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases. Support release planning with conceptual design and development/refinement of software engineering guidelines. Analyze complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools and components. Ensure product quality and timeliness of work, provide guidance, resolve problems to meet objectives, and provide periodic performance reports. Provide mentoring to junior team members. Create reusable libraries, develop interactive and responsive interfaces, implement complex solutions, conduct reviews/lead tests, and apply visualizations to solutions. Implement new features by transforming mockups into fully functional user interfaces integrated with API-enabled microservices built on Spring Boot/Java backend. Bridge the gap between user interface design and technical implementation. Maintain a passion for user experience and user-centric development. Continuously research new and best coding practices. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Qualifications

Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation (criteria include but are not limited to:) 3-year check for felony convictions 1-year check for illegal drug use 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree Seven (7) or more years of Full Stack Development or related technical experience in software design, development and implementation in a Windows Environment Demonstrated professional experience with our tech stack: Java, Hibernate, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, AngularJS Hands-on experience in AngularJS, ReactJS, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS and HTML Experience developing SPA (Single Page Applications) using a modern UI framework (Angular and Angular Material), backed by RESTful services Experience with a variety of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Spring framework, Hibernate, JAX-RS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Web-Services, Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, and shell scripting Object oriented design and development (OODD) expertise, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (Git preferred) Experience with SQL or PL/SQL in Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases is a plus Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle (planning, development, requirements management, CM, QA, release management) Hybrid schedule with on-site requirement of 1-2 days per week in Ashburn, VA Desired: Technical certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, OCP Java) Direct experience providing production support for applications utilizing Oracle databases Familiarity with Spring, VMware, ETL tools, ESB, application security, automated testing, UML, VersionOne, Jira, or Sparx Enterprise Architect DevOps experience / CI/CD pipeline Strong communication skills for leading design conversations and fostering collaboration Adaptable and able to work with a diverse, geographically dispersed team Interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints What You Can Expect
