Summary

The Equipment Shop Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the equipment shop, including inventory management, equipment repair, end user support, and component refurbishment strategies. This role provides upgrades and custom field parts and performs component testing to support equipment reliability. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities

Manage component refurbishment strategy / process Coordinate efforts to return equipment to the Bryan facility and evaluate equipment whether to refurbish or to scrap Separate and properly dispose of equipment identified as unusable Manage all workflow through the shop in accordance with good housekeeping practices Provide upgrades, custom field parts, and component testing, some of which support SEG Reliability Minimize equipment refurb backlog by refurbishing components in house or utilizing third party resources Maintain refurb parts in inventory and use where possible. Coordinate refurbished components with Manager, Equipment Fabrication for new and refurb skids Use third party suppliers for major repairs to equipment when needed Perform and report on component utilization analysis, opportunities (Reliability philosophy, stock levels, new components, etc.), some of which support SEG Reliability Provide component training to LSPI personnel, including FSRs, new SEG personnel, and new technical employees Maintain standalones/cleanout equipment when returned from the field Create work orders for shop refurbishment, supplier quality issues, and standalones Provide technical support to FSRs regarding spare parts and equipment Assist Equipment Specialist, Planner/Scheduler and Spare Parts Specialist with SAP ordering, spare parts, storeroom maintenance, and MRP settings Work with Equipment Specialist, Planner/Scheduler to support kitting and shipping of parts and equipment to fabricators, FSRs, vendors, etc. Package parts & equipment securely to prevent damage during transit Minimize overnight shipments and use company approved carriers. Consolidate shipments where applicable to minimize shipping Basic Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Eight or more years’ relevant experience utilizing hand and machine tools Teamwork – candidate must be a team player focused on contributing to the organization achieving results Independent producer – individual must be able to work without constant supervision Clear communication skills Demonstrated planning and organizational skills Ability to deliver on commitments Willingness to travel to material suppliers, equipment fabricators or injection sites as necessary (estimated 5 - 15 % travel) Proficient in related computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred/Qualifications

Understanding of Maximo and SAP Bachelor’s or associate degree in a technical field preferred Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical equipment testing, installation and operation Knowledge of injection system technology with good hands-on mechanical, electrical power, and control systems knowledge Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
