The Disciplinarian at White Mountain Middle School is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive school climate by implementing and enforcing student behavior policies. This role involves monitoring student conduct, addressing disciplinary concerns, and working closely with administrators, teachers, and families to promote positive behavioral interventions. The disciplinarian will provide clear expectations for student behavior, apply equitable disciplinary procedures, and support restorative practices that encourage accountability and personal growth. Collaboration with school staff is key to ensuring that discipline strategies align with educational goals and student needs. The disciplinarian will track and analyze behavioral data, implement intervention strategies, and contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote respect and responsibility. Additionally, the role includes mentoring students, providing conflict resolution guidance, and supporting programs that encourage social-emotional development. Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive school climate; implement and enforce student behavior policies. Track and analyze behavioral data; implement evidence-based intervention strategies; contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting respect and responsibility. Mentor students, provide conflict resolution guidance, and support social-emotional development programs. Collaborate with staff to ensure discipline strategies align with educational goals and student needs. Who We’re Looking For
EPSD9 seeks an individual who is committed to building strong relationships with students and promoting a positive school culture. The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school students in an educational or behavioral support role, demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills. A deep understanding of behavior management strategies, restorative justice practices, and student support systems is essential. The successful candidate must be firm yet compassionate, able to maintain consistency in discipline while fostering an environment that values growth, respect, and student achievement. Title: Disciplinarian Placement: White Mountain Middle School, White City, OR Supervisor: Principal Contract Days: 185 Days per year / 8 hours per day Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $20.82 – $29.62 per hour based on previous verified full-time experience, plus an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement “employee contribution” paid by the District, and tuition reimbursement available. Application
