Overview
The IDMC MDM SaaS Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) solutions on the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) SaaS platform. This role collaborates with stakeholders to define enterprise data architecture, lead master data modeling and integration efforts, and ensure performance, availability, and governance of cloud-based MDM systems. Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: Develop target-state and transitional architectures for MDM implementations within the IDMC SaaS ecosystem. Master Data Modeling: Design and implement scalable master data models across domains such as Person and Organization. Data Integration: Build robust data pipelines and integration patterns using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including CDI and CAI. Data Quality & Governance: Establish best practices for metadata management, data quality, lineage tracking, and governance throughout the master data lifecycle. Technical Leadership: Lead architecture reviews, provide technical guidance, and conduct proof-of-concept initiatives for MDM solutions. Hands-on experience with Match/Merge and survivorship rule implementation. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategies. Platform Operations: Maintain high availability, performance, security, and compliance of IDMC MDM solutions. Informatica Expertise: Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM SaaS, IICS, CDI, CAI, and CDQ. Cloud & Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud data architectures, integration patterns (batch, real-time, API, event-driven), and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Database & Messaging Systems: Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging platforms like Kafka and Azure Service Bus. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning capabilities. Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes. Work in Pacific Time zone & Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
