Design & Deployment
Build, configure, and deploy Azure-based infrastructure and services (IaaS, PaaS). Implement cloud-native solutions and migrate workloads to Azure. Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).
Operations & Support
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies. Provide production support and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 availability of critical cloud services. Support application teams with cloud adoption and integration requirements.
Agile Collaboration
Actively contribute as a member of an Agile/Scrum team. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver cloud solutions in iterative increments.
Security & Governance
Apply enterprise security and compliance standards across Azure resources. Manage RBAC, policies, and identity integration with Azure Active Directory. Ensure alignment with governance frameworks and cost management practices.
Automation & Innovation
Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning. Contribute to building reusable frameworks and templates for cloud services. Stay current on Azure services and recommend innovative solutions to business challenges.
Qualifications
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience with 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience, or Associate’s degree with 5 years’ experience with 1 year demonstrated leadership experience, or HS/GED with 7 years of experience in a large, complex organization. Experience deploying and operating on a public cloud framework. Ability to articulate new ideas to technical and non-technical audiences; ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical, data-driven mindset; ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills. Familiarity with service design and pricing in cloud-based solutions. Experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, database architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, IP networking, Linux, Agile development, SCRUM, .NET, programming languages, technical solution architecture, SOA, Windows Azure, Amazon AWS. Certification in cloud engineering is required within 12–24 months. Additional Qualifications
Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) or similar. Strong experience with Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, AKS, App Services, Functions, Monitoring). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates). Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Cloud networking concepts (VNets, VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancing). Cloud security, RBAC, and identity management experience. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations. Experience in an Agile team environment; containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS). Knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud environments; scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash). Familiarity with monitoring/logging platforms (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights). Experience in enterprise-scale environments with complex governance and compliance needs. Additional Details
