The Deposit Operations Manager leads all deposit-related operational functions, including ACH, wires, exception processing, account maintenance, Reg E claims, quality assurance, and internal controls. This leadership role ensures that deposit operations are efficient, compliant, and scalable—supporting both traditional branch banking and digital initiatives. The Deposit Operations Manager also partners closely with the Banking Solutions Manager to implement and expand a hybrid staffing model, aligning operational resources with evolving customer and technology needs. Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily deposit operations functions: ACH, wire transfers, Reg E processing, account maintenance, exceptions, and quality reviews. Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to the deposit operations team, fostering a high-performance and service-oriented culture. Collaborate with the Banking Solutions Manager to implement and enhance the hybrid staffing model for operational scalability and workforce flexibility. Identify, develop, and implement automation and process improvement initiatives to increase accuracy and reduce manual tasks. Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines and audit standards. Serve as a subject matter expert on core systems (e.g., CSI NuPoint, Teller Capture), ensuring system optimization and team proficiency. Represent Deposit Operations in audits and examinations; oversee timely resolution of any findings. Maintain and update departmental SOPs, workflows, and business continuity plans. Work closely with the Operations Support Specialist to ensure consistent documentation, internal controls, reporting, and project tracking. Secondary Duties & Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of deposit operations processes including ACH, wire processing, Reg E, and compliance. Proven ability to drive process improvements, lead teams through change, and adopt new technologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with CSI NuPoint or a similar core banking system preferred Preferred Qualifications

Lean or other process improvement/project management experience. Experience leading digital transformation or automation projects in a banking environment. Demonstrated success in managing hybrid or flexible workforce models.
