Transit Systems & Onboard Technology
Maintain and troubleshoot onboard bus systems including CAD/AVL, APCs, fareboxes, destination signs, radios, Wi-Fi, and surveillance cameras. Perform diagnostics, software updates, and configuration changes on vehicle technology. Ensure accurate data transfer between vehicles and back-office systems. Coordinate with vendors for warranty work, parts replacement, and system upgrades. Maintain inventory and documentation of onboard equipment. IT Infrastructure & Support
Provide technical support for computers, mobile devices, printers, phones, and related hardware/software. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates. Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and internet connectivity. Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access in coordination with RATP Dev’s IT vendor. Ensure system backups, cybersecurity protocols, and disaster recovery processes are in place. Respond to help desk requests and resolve technical issues promptly. Vendor Coordination & Project Implementation
Act as the primary point of contact with RATP Dev’s IT vendor for system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and contractors on technology installations and upgrades. Track, resolve, and report service tickets in a timely and organized manner. Planning, Training & Documentation
Develop preventive maintenance schedules for IT and transit technology systems. Recommend technology upgrades and capital replacements. Train staff on technology use, security best practices, and system efficiency. Maintain documentation of IT procedures, system configurations, and asset inventory. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. 2–3+ years of professional IT experience, ideally in transportation, logistics, fleet, or public sector environments. Proficiency in Windows environments, Office 365 administration, networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), servers, and VoIP systems. Experience with transit technologies such as CAD/AVL, fare collection, APCs, and surveillance systems is highly desirable. Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform light electronic/equipment repairs. Strong troubleshooting, project management, and vendor coordination skills. Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation abilities. Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain. Benefits
