At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. Company Overview : At Eli Lilly and Company, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. Eli Lilly is a leader in global healthcare and has been discovering and developing medicines that help improve lives for more than 140 years. Department Description : Delivery, Device, and Connected Solutions (DDCS) is an organization within the Product Research and Development (PRD) at Eli Lilly and Company. DDCS provides the scientific and engineering expertise to discover and develop delivery solutions across a range of modalities, from injection devices to nanomedicines. Responsibilities : Apply resourceful and innovative thinking to develop and validate computer simulation-based approaches to problems related to various drug delivery modalities. Demonstrate ability to utilize computational modeling to address impactful questions relating to various drug delivery modalities. Leverage a strong theoretical and technical background in bio transport, continuum mechanics, FEA/CFD modeling, and simulation to develop and execute the modeling of drug delivery modalities. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment but show initiative to undertake and drive independent research problems to completion. Demonstrate strong communication (oral and written) skills. Contribute to the overall goals of the department and the company by developing innovative drug delivery systems that improve patient outcomes.
