Your Role And Responsibilities Join our team of Firmware Engineers dedicated to crafting the most secure systems for our clients to deploy their enterprise applications. As a Firmware Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing IO enablement firmware and boot firmware for Power Servers, ensuring seamless operation and robust security. Your Primary Responsibilities Include Collaborate and deliver on industry standard designs and software solutions by working with hardware and firmware developers within IBM as well as the OpenPOWER community. Perform architecture, design, firmware development, testing, and debug while delivering firmware functionality for IBM's Power Systems servers. Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Experienced in C/C++ software development. Strong debug and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with embedded programming or other low-level programming environments. Knowledge of development tools such as Git/Gerrit, Github, GDB, scripting languages (Python, Perl), Continuous Integration (CI), and test processes. Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-team and cross-geography.
