To be successful as a Senior UI Software Engineer – Securitized Products Electronic Trading, you should: Be a capable programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object Oriented Design principals Possess extensive experience of Angular coding and Web Socket implementation for real time systems Be familiar with Java and Mongo DB Have experience working with C#, WPF and other .NET technologies Be comfortable discussing requirements and presenting solutions with trading and sales users Other Highly Valued Skills Include
Guiding and supporting junior developers Knowledge of UX design Experience working with state management technology such as Redux Understanding of Fixed Income products and Electronic Trading workflow, especially Request For Quote Have experience overseeing the analysis, design, and implementation of Fixed Income Electronic Trading user interfaces Location
This role is located in Whippany, NJ or New York, NY office. Salary
Salary For Whippany, NJ Minimum Salary: $170,000 Maximum Salary: $230,000 The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available. To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Vice President Expectations
