Peraton requires Wireless Network Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks support USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and the end-user who operate 24x7x365. Responsibilities

Maintain adequate IT personnel to facilitate Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) and HQ SOCOM Campus requirements, including network monitoring and technical support for LAN/WLAN architecture in university classrooms, auditoriums (above-baseline), and JCIS (commercial network). Provide IT support for all University commercial systems within classrooms, auditoriums, students, faculty, and staff. Coordinate and execute lifecycle and disposition actions of equipment located in JSOU classrooms, seminar rooms, conference rooms, and auditorium. All contractor support will follow USSOCOM guidance on SOFNET-related issues. JSOU will provide Tiers 0, 1 and 2 support capabilities of SIE services for all students, staff, and visitors in JSOU classrooms, seminar rooms, conference rooms, and auditorium. This role will directly oversee day-to-day operations of 4-6 employees supporting IT functions (e.g., VTC and classroom set-up) for JSOU and USSOCOM Headquarters. Performs systems engineering, design, analysis, and ongoing support of multiple LAN and wireless networks. Plans, leads, and executes requirements analysis, design, development, and documentation of complex information systems in support of JSOU, USSOCOM and SOF missions supported by the SIE within the Peraton DEF. Administers the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures. Resolves ticket requests, works to resolve incidents, and escalates to engineering team when required. Troubleshoots and resolves LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems. Implements and manages zero trust security measures, including access control, encryption, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, cloud-based security models and cloud-based security controls. Documents network infrastructure and design, coordinates and implements network software and hardware upgrades, documents and maintains network topologies. Researches, designs, and implements LAN/wireless networks, including the definition of applicable engineering specifications and resource requirements for network hardware and software. Makes recommendations for wireless network optimization, additions and upgrades to meet government requirements. Conducts and documents radio frequency (RF) coverage and site surveys. Ensures wireless systems comply with USSOCOM Manuals 380-19 and 380-3 and NSA CSfC capabilities. Previous experience with Cisco, Aruba, Visio and Ekahau preferred. Qualifications

Minimum 12 years with high school diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PhD. Previous experience with Cisco, Aruba. Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. DoD TS/SCI clearance is required. DoD 8570 IAT II Certification. Compensation and benefits

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. Salary is determined by factors including scope, experience, education, location, and contract considerations. Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may be available depending on the position. Additional details
