Take full responsibility for overseeing Workday integrations and serve as a primary technical expert for all related matters. Architect, develop, validate, and implement new complex Workday integrations based on requirements, enterprise standards, and defined design patterns. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions. Participate and provide technical leadership in all phases of new integration projects from discovery and planning through implementation and support. Work with third-party vendors when applicable to develop and test integrations that interact with their systems. Monitor and maintain existing Workday integrations, including enhancements and ongoing performance monitoring and resolution. Attend relevant trainings, webinars and conferences to stay current on new technologies and best practices to apply to the Firm’s integration catalog. Stay current with Workday and integrated system updates and best practices to ensure optimal integration performance. Lead the regression testing of integrations during Workday’s semi-annual releases, including impact analysis and stakeholder communication. Monitor and resolve Workday integration support desk tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Manage integration operations tasks (support tickets, error monitoring) for Dayshape, our resource management application integrated with Workday. Initiate, track, and follow up on tickets opened with Workday partner support. Collaborate with HRIS, IAS, IT, and business owners and other developers to ensure seamless data flow and system performance. Maintain documentation of integration configurations, including the integration catalog, design documents, release notes, and support processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required. 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern web applications, enterprise application development platforms and integrations. Experience with Workday development and Workday Studio are required. Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with proven problem-solving experience. Advanced knowledge of the Workday platform, including data structures, system configuration, security models, and business processes. Deep technical expertise in Studio (including SSK), EIBs, Web Services APIs (SOAP, REST), and Workday Core Connectors. Workday Certification in Integrations required. Ability to understand the purpose of integrations and how data is ingested across integrated systems. Experience supporting Workday Financials integrations preferred. Familiarity with Dayshape Resource Management application and integration framework preferred. Understanding of Workday Orchestrate framework preferred. Experience managing support tickets and collaborating with vendor support teams. Demonstrated ability to lead integration projects and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language. High level of comfort working with all levels of employees. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion. Strong aptitude for technology and ability to work in a high-stress environment. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required. This position may require some local and national travel.
