Programmer/Analyst (APPLICATIONS PROGR 3) Reporting to the IET Academic Applications IT Director Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, this position is responsible for application development of all Financial Aid Student Information Systems (SIS). Analyze business requirements, design, develop, troubleshoot, deploy, maintain, secure and support web-based applications in support of the Financial Aid Office mission. Collaborate with functional users; remain informed regarding changes, upgrades, and issues related to all applicable computer software and hardware. Work as part of the development team under guidance of the Lead Programmer and use independent judgment to ensure and guarantee the security, efficiency and availability of all Financial Aid Applications. Responsibilities

85% - Application Development 15% - User Training, Communication & Documentation Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience/training. Experience developing Object Oriented applications in C# utilizing the .NET 2.0 and above framework. Experience using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD. Experience working with users to document requirements, define specifications and communicate user instructions. Experience with relational databases, SQL, APIs, and methods to consume data. Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, patterns, strategies, lifecycle utilizing the .NET, C#, and Azure DevOps framework. Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with clients and describe proposed solutions. Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting Financial Aid or Financial applications. Experience in higher education. Skills with Visual Studio, Version Control, programming practices, languages and industry trends. Advanced knowledge of .NET, C#, Azure DevOps, and SQL. Skills with Oracle databases and Oracle SQL. Skills using the Ellucian Banner SIS product. Skills with Financial Aid technologies. Salary: $77,100/yr. - $139,900/yr.
