The Application Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the team in maximizing the recovery & final resolution of underpayments identified by AC3’s Contract Management Software. The RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Support Specialist will heavily utilize Microsoft Excel & other software tools to gather & report out key data & information for the Client Operations Team. Essential Function And Job Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Serves as an applications specialist for the PM system utilized at AC3. Manage team member access in PM systems and client EMR systems. Maintain and ensure accurate permissions are assigned to all team members. Pull together claims data & create internal & external client facing deliverables. Utilizes Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, & present claim underpayments for Clients. Understanding of physician practice & billing office workflows Reviews & extracts data in the Client’s Practice Management System to support resolution & quantification of charges. Document processes and instructional guides for systems. Ability to train new team members or clients on applicable systems. Understands the revenue cycle workflow and able to investigate breaks in the process. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the assigned client and team members. Accountable for meeting established productivity measures and goals. Participates in special projects as assigned. Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required. Proven experience in application support or a similar role. 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management. Industry Certification a plus (CRCR, CHAM, CHFP, FHFMA, FACHE) Experience with application integration and working with IT teams. Accurately maintains and adheres to all safety rules and regulations. Must be detail oriented and have problem solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; prioritize tasks and workloads. Billing process and procedures (including parameters and requirements of billing). Effective communication skills and problem-solving ability Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative group. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Location

This is a full-time hybrid/remote position; there will be required onsite training and a combination of remote and onsite work. The ideal candidate should reside within a 30-mile radius of the office located in South Bend, IN. Work is completed in a general office environment and may be sedentary but could require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Why Work at AC3?
