The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing Microsoft Windows servers, systems, and installed software, providing computer services support to various geographically diverse locations throughout the Driscoll’s enterprise, guided by the Lead Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator will assist the team with the installation, configuration, upgrade, and enhancement of servers and installed systems. Responsibilities include escalated support to Application Support Team, Help Desk staff, and PC users, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Active Directory-based computer networks and associated systems. Job Qualifications

BS/BA in a computer-related field of study with four years of work experience as a Windows system administrator or supporting computer networks, or equivalent experience. MCSE or similar professional certification. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server 2003 and 2008, and Exchange 2010. Competency with SQL and PowerShell scripting. Five years of experience installing, upgrading, and supporting Windows servers (2003 and/or 2008) in a business environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and work in a cross-cultural environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience managing vendors and support tickets. California driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
