Overview
Senior Network Cloud Engineer-GCP at Publicis Sapient. We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Networking Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable networking solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate holds both the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect and Networking certifications, possesses deep expertise in GCP networking services, and has hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. This role focuses on building secure, high-performance enterprise network architectures aligned with business and operational requirements. Responsibilities
Design and deploy enterprise-scale GCP networking solutions including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) architectures, Cloud Router, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud CDN, and Private Service Connect implementations. Work with GCP foundation services, Resource hierarchy, IAM, KMS, Asset inventory, security, networking, observability, and related areas. Lead the design and execution of complex hybrid and multi-region network topologies using GCP networking primitives. Implement enterprise routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and Metro Ethernet as part of hybrid cloud architectures connecting on-premises and cloud environments. Automate network infrastructure using Terraform, following infrastructure-as-code best practices and developing advanced reusable Terraform modules. Collaborate with security, DevOps, and cloud teams to ensure network configurations meet security, observability, and compliance requirements. Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex networking issues related to routing, peering, interconnects, and CDN performance optimization. Develop and document network architecture standards, diagrams, and best practices for internal teams and stakeholders. Stay current on the GCP networking roadmap, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations. Support migration planning and execution involving large-scale network transformations to Google Cloud. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification. Strong knowledge of GCP networking services including VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud CDN, and Private Service Connect. Expertise with enterprise networking protocols such as OSPF and BGP in cloud and hybrid environments. Hands-on experience coding network infrastructure and configurations using Terraform. Solid understanding of network security, segmentation, load balancing, and high availability architectures within GCP. Proven experience designing enterprise landing zones and multi-VPC network topologies with hybrid cloud connectivity. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex networking concepts to technical and business audiences. Knowledge of GCP logging, observability, and SRE. Preferred Qualifications:
Background in network automation with tools such as Ansible or Cloud Deployment Manager besides Terraform. Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and service mesh concepts on GCP (Anthos/GKE). Experience with cloud CDN optimization and DDoS mitigation strategies. Understanding of cloud cost management around networking usage. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, ELK and deploying applications on GCP. Hands-on knowledge of Helm charts. Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes infrastructure with Terraform Enterprise. Hands-on Python and Unix shell scripting is required. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and/or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is a plus. Benefits

Pay Range: $130,000 - $165,000.
