Overview
The Data Analytics Engineer will help the business intelligence team by building reliable data pipelines, creating data models for reports, and making sure stakeholders get accurate and timely information. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and analysts, gaining hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, automation tools, and modern analytics processes. Responsibilities
Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, Dagster, and Azure Data Factory, with guidance from senior team members. Write SQL and Python code to clean, transform, and load data from different sources. Help create and update data models (like tables for reporting and analysis). Support BI tools (like Sigma) by making sure data is accurate and current. Monitor data pipelines and fix issues related to data quality or performance. Document data workflows and models for team sharing and future use. Integrate APIs into data pipelines. Work with the BI team to turn business needs into useful datasets and dashboards. Participate in code reviews and use version control (Git) to keep data consistent and reliable. Requirements
2–3 years of experience in data or analytics engineering. Strong SQL skills for analysis and data transformation. Basic Python skills for data processing. Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake. Familiarity with data transformation tools like dbt. Some experience with workflow tools like Airflow or Azure Data Factory. Understanding of databases, data schemas, joins, and data modeling. Good communication and problem-solving skills, eager to learn new tools. Nice to Have
Experience with BI tools like Sigma, Power BI, Looker, or Tableau. Knowledge of Git and teamwork in software development. Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
