Overview
Position - Software Engineer - React Location - New York, NY Duration: 12 Months Responsibilities
Duties: What are the must have skills for this position? 7+ years of extensive experience working as a Front end JS developer (familiarity with redux a plus) Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles. Good understanding of Node, Babel, ES6, Javascript or Typescript, npm, webpack. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest and Jasmine. Good understanding of LESS/SASS CSS, Bootstrap, Animations. Experience on working with NodeJS SPA frameworks. Experience working with RDBMS or NoSQL databases Experience with OpenFin or Finsemble is a big plus. Familiarity with web services, Rest APIs and microservice based architecture. Understanding of Git version control, bitbucket, JIRA. Experience with data query and manipulation languages like GraphQL, SQL. Ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment. Very good communication and problem solving skills. Experience building customer-facing web applications. A strong technical foundation and experience building user interfaces for complex applications. Experience with C#, Python, .NET framework, .Net core, SQL, WCF/Web Services, WPF/WinForms, Visual Studio IDE. Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and some pub/sub MQ platform. .Net Framework 4.0, .Net Core, Asnc-Await, TPL library, multitasking, MVVM concepts and design patterns. Test driven development, automated unit and integration tests. Experience with SpecFlow. Familiarity with CI-CD tools including Git, Jenkins, Datical and Ansible etc. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, good attention to details and work well in a distributed team environment. Familiarity with Agile driven development and Atlassian tools is a big plus. Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Problem solving, attention to details and work well in a distributed team environment. Ability to develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications and supporting functions.
