Overview
HDR is seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is employee-owned and highly ranked in ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and in Hydropower. Our program aims to improve the resiliency, sustainability and safety of communities. Dams, levees and flood control systems are being upgraded to adapt to a changing climate, provide more efficient renewable power and meet growing water needs. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems. Responsibilities
Provide project, geographic and technical leadership in HDR's dam, levee and flood resilience programs; serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders as applicable. Work on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects; expertise in potential failure mode analysis is a growing need. Relocation or remote opportunities: HDR has over 200 locations in the United States; leadership teams are exploring expansion into new locations and remote working; willingness to relocate or be contacted about opportunities near you. Civil, structural, geotechnical, or hydraulic engineers with relevant experience in dam, levee or flood resilience projects. Experience in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) and related analyses. Locations
