Senior Credit Analyst, Mid Ticket Equipment Finance at Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc. The role involves evaluating and underwriting credit transactions across diverse industries, with exposure typically between $1M–$5M, and making decisions within assigned authority in accordance with credit policy. Onsite work is required 5 days/week in Edina, MN; Itasca, IL; or Norwalk, CT. Base pay range : $76,000.00/yr - $89,000.00/yr. This role is eligible for a year-end bonus and may include additional compensation based on experience. Responsibilities

Review and process credit transaction applications with exposures between $1M–$5M within assigned signature authority and in compliance with Mitsubishi HC Capital credit policy; recommend terms for transactions beyond authority to senior management. Analyze and spread financial statements; apply scoring models and interpret outputs to assess risk. Prepare detailed credit memos aligned with MHCA underwriting criteria. Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to ensure accurate documentation; engage with vendors to clarify deal details and support submissions. Support documentation, funding, collateral valuation processes, onboarding and training of new credit staff, and maintain documentation reflecting actual approvals and commitments. Mentor junior analysts and support training initiatives; participate in application-only workflow as needed to maintain efficiency. Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX, and regulatory policies; work independently within company policy. Maintain industry exposure knowledge, with preference for healthcare, IT, transportation, or construction sectors. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in financial statement analysis and credit underwriting. Proven ability to review, understand, and communicate financial statements and use data to risk-rate transactions. Prior credit authority of $1M+ (ideally up to $5M) and prior single-signature approval authority in a risk finance environment. Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to work independently. Experience in underwriting healthcare, IT, or franchise lending industries is a plus; collections background is a plus. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:
