We are seeking a
Staff Accountant
to join our finance team and support the Corporate Controller in maintaining accurate and timely financial records. This role will be hands-on with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and support across revenue cycle, payroll, and accounts payable functions. Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany transactions. Perform monthly account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close. Reconcile patient billing and insurance reimbursement activity to support revenue cycle accounting. Review reconciliations, coding, and reporting for payroll and accounts payable. Assist with financial statements and management reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Provide documentation and analysis for budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (1099s, LLC, and corporate filings). Maintain financial records for audits and compliance purposes. Partner with internal teams, auditors, consultants, and vendors. Participate in process improvements and system enhancements (ERP/practice management systems). What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred but not required. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with intercompany entries and reconciliations. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools. Experience with healthcare or physician practice accounting preferred. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communicator and team collaborator. Experience with cloud-based ERP software preferred (Sage and CCH Tax). Salary range: $70,000 – $110,000, based on experience. Compensation & Benefits
