The Department of Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics
at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV is seeking
visionary Obstetric and Gynecology physicians to join our team . Due to the growing community needs and practice expansion, we offer exciting
opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient care
at the University Medical Center (UMC), Sunrise Hospital, and UNLV Health clinics. Las Vegas has a high demand for state-of-the-art Obstetric and Gynecological care, providing incoming physicians with an excellent opportunity to advance their careers and make a significant impact. Opportunities and Roles We offer inpatient and outpatient care opportunities across UNLV Medical Center, Sunrise Hospital, and UNLV Health clinics. The role supports OB/GYN generalists and related clinical education with students and residents, including research opportunities.
Responsibilities
Clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology with opportunities to participate in program design and practice development.
Clinical education with students and residents, including research opportunities.
Participation in a progressive department that supports OB/GYN in the full scope of the specialty, including family planning.
Engagement with UNLV’s core values by recruiting a diverse and inclusive staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
Board-certified or eligible in obstetrics and gynecology (as applicable).
Interest in inpatient and outpatient obstetric/gynecologic care and program development.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary and incentives based on AAMC standards and rank, commensurate with experience and training.
Leading benefits include 24 days of PTO, 30 days Sick, 12 paid holidays, 19.25% matching retirement, tuition assistance for family, comprehensive health, and more.
No State Income Tax or Social Security Tax.
Student loan repayment and visa sponsorship available.
UNLV Faculty Laborist program to support OB/GYN generalists.
Work schedule: 4.5 days of work and 0.5 day admin, 6 on-call days/month for Generalist; 14 shifts per month for Laborist.
