Overview

The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified or board-eligible fellowship-trained pediatric urologist with an M.D. or MD/PhD (or equivalent) to join the department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. The successful candidate will develop a clinical practice focused on all aspects of pediatric urology, located at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Clinics, as well as outreach sites in the San Francisco Bay Area. Approximately 80% of this position’s full-time effort will be dedicated to clinical duties. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Responsibilities

Develop and sustain a pediatric urology clinical practice at the primary and outreach sites. Contribute to teaching, administration, and/or scholarship as required by the Clinician Educator track. Ensure high-quality patient care across all aspects of pediatric urology. Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible pediatric urology with fellowship training; an M.D. or MD/PhD (or equivalent). Eligible for clinical appointment at Stanford University in the Clinician Educator Line. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities in alignment with programmatic needs. The expected base pay ranges are: Clinical Assistant Professor: $368,000 – $395,000 Clinical Associate Professor: $422,000 – $458,000 Clinical Professor: $486,000 – $566,000 This pay range reflects base pay and is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive programs.
