Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs. Perform observations in classroom and school settings for behavioral assessments. Develop Functional Behavior Analyses (FBAs) to guide intervention strategies. Collaborate with educators and staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide consultation services to teachers and parents regarding student well-being. Deliver direct support to students, fostering their emotional and educational growth.
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology. Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in evaluating and addressing their psychological needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations. Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
