Rates for this position are detailed in Appendix -a-, Schedule A. This position is medical and dental benefit eligible. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Administer, evaluate, and interpret results of assessment instruments/procedures measuring learning ability and social, emotional, and behavioral development; supervise their usage. Review data on pupils referred to the school problem-solving team. Provide interventions and supports before referral for special education assessment. Conduct personal conferences with parents. Develop and maintain procedures for the operation of School Psychological Services through individual case services. Collaborate with school personnel to secure community resource support for pupils and parents. Provide pupil counseling and other case services as time permits. Perform other similar duties as assigned. Specific Responsibilities

Participate in district research projects, curriculum studies, and pupil personnel service projects as assigned. Recommend improvements to school psychological services to the Executive Director of Student Support Services. Attend relevant state, regional, national, and area professional conferences. Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of various behavior management strategies. Ability to perform daily routines effectively. Proficiency in operating computers, software, and necessary technology. Ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community. Maintain professional composure in diverse situations. Show initiative and act as a self-starter. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction and work direction. Hiring Administrators
