What You Will Enjoy Doing
Main Responsibilities:
Designs layouts of equipment
Assists in specifying new production equipment including researching of available providers, determination of specifications, obtaining quotations, recommending purchases, performing factory-acceptance-tests, arranging installation, completing startup, training, and performance qualification.
Assists Automation team to find the ideal setup for the Factory flow
Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Drafts and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Identifies and negotiates with other Internal functional areas for required personnel.
Tracks project milestones and deliverables.
Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Ensures correct information for quotations (Cost, Feasibility, Cycle time estimation, Efficiencies, Machine and mold configuration, Secondary packaging layout)

What Makes You Great
Education:
Minimum 2-year degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, 4-year degree (Bachelor) preferred Experience:
3 to 5 years' experience as an Engineer in production is required, preferably within the plastics industry, Technical Engineering background is preferred Skills: Strong organizational skills Strong mechanical aptitude and skills Mechanical and electrical skills Knowledge of packaging systems Ability to create engineering drawings Experience with Microsoft Office Thorough understanding of technical aspects of different types of equipment Certifications/Licenses: Lean Six Sigma (Green belt or Black Belt), preferred, not required PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred, not required CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) preferred, not required Other Requirements:
