Overview
Mungo Homes has a new opening for a Land Entitlement & Engineering Project Manager in the Triad, NC market. The Entitlement and Engineering Project Manager will supervise and coordinate tasks and schedules between the internal engineering team and outside engineering firms to ensure that projects are ready for development on schedule. Responsibilities
Develops schedules for entitlement processes on new projects under consideration and aligns them with cash flows from estimating; obtain schedule approval with Market Management, Acquisitions, and Development Manager. Tracks and drives entitlements to stay on schedule. Meets with management team for regular project updates. Identifies key milestones with the acquisitions team for entitlements, approvals, and contract deadlines. Ensures contract terms comply with the required schedule of the business plan. Tracks entitlement timeframes for projects according to business plan schedules. Ensures all needs are met to move to the next stage of the project, including tracking approvals, plans, paperwork, signatures, bonds, permits, and fees. Tracks contract deposit schedules versus milestones and deliverables. Stays aware of municipal trends related to entitlement requirements for development work, architectural requirements, etc. Attends meetings with municipal planning and rezoning staff. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: Experience in land development and the entitlement process, including subdivision plans, grading, utilities, rezoning approvals, permitting processes and requirements for subdivision projects. Computer Skills
