Are you ready to shape the future of aerospace with cutting-edge technology? Join our Rotary Wing Platform Systems Team within the Military Avionics group at Collins Aerospace. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to lead SOA programs and work on avionics for US Army Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs, including A/MH-6, MH-60M and MH-47G aircraft platforms. The role requires a highly motivated person to help lead the charge for the SOA programs. What You Will Do

Perform design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks for A/MH-6R, MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics for the US Army SOA programs. Execute platform systems on-site testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment with schedule flexibility during formal test phases. Support cross-functional development with external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams for CAAS builds. Potentially assist in flight test events at customer facilities to see your work in action. Use engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others. Investigate Collins Aerospace lab hardware and interfaces for Collins equipment and government furnished equipment. Up to 10% domestic travel as needed. What You Will Learn

Deepen understanding of aircraft systems engineering and advanced integration and development processes. Build leadership skills and influence major project outcomes. Expand professional network by collaborating with avionics experts and customers. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. Systems Engineering Experience Ability to obtain a secret DoD clearance after day 1 Qualifications We Prefer

Collins Aerospace’s Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience. Avionics experience. Experience with data busses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429). Experience with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA and/or Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and ability to document work. Ability to research test requirements and prepare test plans and procedures. What We Offer
